Both apartments offer facilities such as BBQ, tennis court, gardens, balcony/sundecks, Sun loungers, large communal swimming pool, outdoor showers and toilets.

Close by the apartments is a well stocked supermarket, restaurant, hairdressers and internet café. Car hire can be arranged, there is a bus stop nearby or you may choose to get around by taxi.

Local activities include Swimming, tennis, golf, surfing, fishing, walking, diving, jet skiing, pedalos, ringos, banana boat, sailing.


Local Attractions

The Algarve is a great place for a holiday as it has lots of beautiful sandy beaches, bars, restaurants and most of all it has sunshine nearly all year-round.

The Algarve is well known for some of the best Golf courses in Europe. Here is just an idea of some attractions you can do on your visit to the Algarve:

There are two large water parks close by, great fun for the whole family, within 25 minutes drive from Gale: Slide & Splash. And just a 10 minute drive to Aqualand.

Zoomarine, near Guia is a superb ocean theme park, the best in southern Europe, providing great entertainment and education for children and adults alike. Shows featuring dolphins, seals, sharks, parrots, crocodiles and other species.

Further a field, near Quarteirá, the Aquashow water park is home to Europe's biggest aquatic roller coaster, amongst many other water slides.


Algarve Shopping

Algarve Shopping

Algarve Shopping is one of the best Shopping Centres the Algarve has to offer. With over 100 shops, including brands, such as Zara, Quiksilver, Mango, Pepe Jeans and many more.

Not just shops though, there are 30 restaurants, a 9 screen cinema, and Bowling centre. With so much to see and do you could quite easily spend a day here!


Aquashow

Aquashow is a family park set in large grounds with plenty of well maintained grassy shaded areas for relaxing. The park has animal attractions such like tropical birds, and has daily shows for you to appreciate their beauty.

Throughout the park there are several children's play areas with swings and slides etc. With many slides, rides and other attractions there is plenty to do for all ages. Liked by most is the large wave pool, great for adults and kids.

One of the many rides, 'The jewel in the crown' ride is guaranteed to be a thrilling experience for all you fearless lot! Being one of the biggest water coaster's in Europe it takes you on a 5 minute journey covering 740m reaching speeds up to70kms per hour!


Slide & Splash

Slide & Splash

Being one of the best water slide parks in the Algarve, Slide & Splash is a fantastic day out with lots of fun activities for all ages.

With lots of different slides to choose from including the Kamikaze, the Black Hole, Crazy River, wide lane slides, tunnel slides and many more. There is a very large children's area for the little ones which has a maximum depth of 40cms and is packed with lots of fantastic activities. If you're not keen on trying the slides you can still enjoy a leisurely swim in the Olympic sized pool or a Jacuzzi.

Around the water slides are over 25,000m of well maintained grass areas making sure there is plenty of room for everyone. You can find shade to sit in under the parks palm trees or pitch a parasol anywhere you want to relax in the gardens.

You can hire out sun loungers, parasols and lockers if you wish to. There are several kiosks stocked with ice creams and drinks as well as a self service canteen selling a large variety of hot and cold snacks and meals.

Highly recommended for families to visit!


Zoomarine

Zoomarine

Zoomarine is one of the Algarve's biggest attractions making a great day out with plenty to do for all the family.

It offers some spectacular shows including, Dolphins shows, a pantomime performed by seals and sea lions, as well as tropical bird show and birds of prey.

There is also an aquarium and several other marine life habitat exhibitions through out the park, and a new 4D cinema.

There are even family fairground rides including, a big wheel with fantastic views looking over the whole park, a mini rollercoaster and more. There's also a restaurant where you can get hot and cold refreshments.

And if you've ever wished you could swim with dolphins, then you can have that wonderful experience here as there is also an opportunity to swim with the dolphins in the dolphin interaction area. This experience costs from around €140 and is located in a beautiful, tranquil environment hidden away from the main park.

Zoomarine is open all year round and entry tickets are reasonably priced.


Monchique

Monchique

Is a beautiful old Portuguese town in the mountains, The highest point in continental Portugal is in the Monchique area. Foiá stands at 902 m and on a clear day the panoramic views are stunning.

The road up to Foia is dotted with lots of traditional chicken piri-piri restaurants for which the area is famous. The coastline is laid out before you - as far east as Albufeira and Vilamoura, to the west to Sagres and along the Western coast.

To the north you can see the rolling plains of the neighboring province - Alentejo. The town of Monchique is a typical rural town, its narrow cobbled streets dotted with small houses. At Caldas de Monchique you can sample the spa waters while you enjoy the tranquility of the tree-lined square.


Wine Tasting

Experience an exclusive tour of the vineyards and winery at Quinta do Miradouro and enjoy a tasting of Sir Cliff Richard's Vida Nova, which is vinified, matured and bottled on the estate.

The Adega do Cantor vineyard is situated at Guia, a few kilometres northwest of Albufeira in the middle of the Algarve and welcomes visitors to pop in any time for a tasting. Their cellar door shop sells the full range of Vida Nova wines as well as a variety of wine merchandise and souvenirs.

The vineyard offers hour long guided tours and tasting by appointment. There are several tour times throughout the day, depending on the time of year and availability.
